I really like Storycorps. People interview each other. The truth and emotion in every story is palpable in their voices and it always leaves me touched. You can find Storycorps at NPR.org.

This next one is a granddaughter interviewing her grandfather. Towards the end the grandfather says, “I think when we got married, we made all new tracks and we never stepped in any old tracks. I want you to do the same thing. Live with courage.”

Love Potion # Yes!

 Love,  a many-splendored thing. Love, a many-stupid thing too! Yes, love can feel like a thousand wonderful butterflies but it can also make you act a little foolish when you go out of your way to impress someone who isn’t all that impressive. Worse, your efforts in love can make you feel gruesomely embarrassed. Even worse, love could leave you heart-broken. Achk! 

Think/Act with your brain, not your heart – Doable but mostly impossible.  

Enter -> Human innovation! We as a species are on the crest of figuring out those chemicals in the brain that cause us to fall in love and, sometimes, fall in stupid. This discovery leaves open the possibility of not only a love potion but an anti-love potion too! This may give our brains a fighting chance before our hearts fall too hard.
